SimplyBiometrics reports significant increase in demand for fingerprint readers free RSS news feed from the Biometric News Portal

06 November 2009
simplybiometrics has seen a considerable uplift in sales of fingerprint readers for the last quarter. Sales of the new 4G range of fingerprint readers have seen a 200% rise in sales with continued interest in new multispectral fingerprint readers continuing to grow.

One of the key reasons identified is the growth of new markets, gyms, offices and health care using biometrics to manage secure staff access and time to monitor staff access and time and attendance.

Michael Connolly Sales Manager for simplybiometrics said “The market has a real need for accurate but simple to install technology to monitor staff access and working hours, the new developments in fingerprint readers has made this possible. In the past cheap, unreliable readers have effected people’s perceptions of the technology”.

Connolly added “We have several enquires a day looking for robust but cost effective biometrics to replace existing legacy card and fob systems and that is why we have taken new partners on board to ensure we meet the demands of the customer”

simplybiometrics will increase the product range next month to include of the Suprema fingerprint range.
